Back in the US in May 2005, he enlisted the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR), a prestigious dispute resolution organization, to facilitate the establishment of an advisory council that would bring neutral leaders, opponents and stakeholders together to address the issues facing the online gambling industry.

David was a prominent speaker in the USA, overtly promoting and engaging in discussion on the subject of regulating online gaming in the USA. In July 2006, David was detained by the FBI whilst passing through Dallas Texas on his way to his home in Costa Rica. Despite events that have engulfed his life since, and in the face of stiff opposition by some to the legislation and regulation of the online gaming industry, David maintains the virtues he held prior to the summer of 2006. He upholds the firm belief that a legalized and regulated gaming industry in the USA represents the principles of freedom and integrity that is inherent within the fabric of American culture.

David maintains his innocence as the fight to clear his name continues.

Away from the cut and thrust of his dynamic business life, David has a real passion for food. His love of cooking and eating fine food is surpassed only by his enthusiasm for football, and in particular Wolverhampton Wanderers, his adopted English team!!!

A dedicated family man, David currently resides under strict home confinement in St Louis, Missouri with his wife Carol. His daughter Laura and son James both live in the UK where they graduated from university in 2006.
